Lost Boy is here!

Hey everyone! I am happy to announce that you can now see the new, updated version of the documentary film about my life, Lost Boy: The Next Chapter.

Since the early departure of our son Christopher to heaven, we felt we needed to change the end of the film as, needless to say, our lives have been changed forever.

Lost Boy: The Next Chapter is still a story of redemption. The redemption of my father, mother, myself, and my son. It is a story that offers hope, regardless of your circumstances.

I hope that you will not only view it but use it as a tool to reach others who do not yet know the Lord.

Lost Boy, the book

As you know, there is also a Lost Boy book that has been very well received. In fact, it was recently nominated for Outreach Magazine‘s Outreach Resource of the Year in the Evangelism category.

I have heard many stories of people who have come to Christ after reading Lost Boy.

You can get a copy of the Lost Boy book by clicking here.

Lost Boy, the DVD

This new version of the film will be out very soon for you to own. It will include many extra features that will make it a valuable ministry resource.

Lost Boy, the tour

I have also been personally touring and showing the Lost Boy documentary at churches around the country. I’m doing that again this weekend in Chicago at Harvest Bible Chapel.

If you are in the Chicagoland area, please come and see us! My son Jonathan will be with me, sharing his personal testimony as well.

Well, that’s all for now. Let me know what you think of this new version of Lost Boy: The Next Chapter.

Love the DVD. We need revival in Alaska. I was that mom although I was saved at a very young age. I became a young mom at 18 and I lost my way for 10+ years after. I’m almost 41 now married to a wonderful husband mother of 4 three from previous relationships. I started turning my life back around at around 27. The scars left on my children are heartbreaking. My oldest battles alcohol my second oldest is married to an abusive husband and has no self worth, my third son only 17 is using drugs and my 13 year old daughter attempted suicide. I’m broken for my children and I love them dearly. I know who holds tomorrow. Please pray for my family. “His eye is on the sparrow”

Pastor Greg, I remember the first time I seen you on TV. I thought, this guy has a way of communicating with others the same way I believe Jesus did. You don’t speak down to others. It actually feels like you are having a conversation with us. I can see you have a genuine heart for God, & your ministry has not made you prideful. You have remained genuinely humbled & thankful by what Jesus has done in your life, & your motivation is clearly to share with others the gospel of Christ & then see them set free & grow in Him the way you have.

I have just completed a two-day course in our church & it talked about spiritual mentors & the importance they play in your life. I know you are my spiritual mentor! Thank you for sharing Lost Boy with us all. It is an incredibly powerful story of redemption. Looking forward to purchasing many copies of this new DVD when its released & gifting them to friends. Please please please come to Queensland, Australia. lol…

    Dear Pastor Greg,

I just watched your video and all I can say is wow, that was awesome. What a great inspiration you are to non-believers. You are a great role model to others in life. To God be the glory. May God continue to bless you and your family.

I have the first Lost Boy, and Part 2 is excellent . . . a tear jerker . . . this movie made me (and probably others) reflect on the past and how loving and patient God is. And how when the Holy Spirit convicts us, we melt like butter. The best part is that Christopher is in heaven – and we will also be there – when God calls us home.

Thank you, Greg, for opening your life to others and giving hope in God and that it’s never too late to “come back” to Him.

May God keep blessing you and your family and all our “brothers and sisters” in Christ Jesus.

  6. Zina says:

Praise the Lord! What a great God we serve. To Him be glory and honor and praise!

We listen to you over the Internet and appreciate your encouragement and the way you help us grow closer to Christ.

    Praying for you in Germany!

    Dear Brother Greg,

Thank you for this great ministry resource, for your life and ministry.

May our Lord comfort and bless you even more.

I am seeking the Lord constantly to help me to figure out how can I preach the cross here in Japan in a “language” that the Japanese can grab immediately, like in the 60s and 70s in Costa Mesa. Thank you for your prayers and the prayers of everyone who is reading this comment.

Kindest regards in Christ, who is always faithful,

I loved this movie! I could not stop crying. I can relate to your story. I have begun to write my story and hope to get it published one day too. It shows that you can have an awful life as a child, but it can be overcome with Christ. Don’t give up, have hope, have faith, keep praying. I have yet to read the book and make it to a crusade, but I will soon. I promise.

Thank you for your website and the radio show. It helps me to get through my day. You are such a great role model for everybody!

  10. Sue says:

All I can say is, God bless you. I bought the first version, but now I have to have this one. I’m just sitting here crying. So pleased that my daughter Heather brought me to your ministry. Thank you for being there. Keep the faith, as I shall. Love to you and yours!

    Dear Pastor Greg,

I thank you so much for sharing. Although I have not yet met you and your family, but only look on from a short distance, I feel like a deep and close part of your family. I know we are all one in Christ and I look forward to meeting Topher in heaven, as well as the rest, when we get there. Looking forward to one day saying more than “hi” and oh ya, “yes, this is great cereal” (hint-Australia Crusade 2003). Your story is almost identical to mine in the way I was raised, and then in some ways I do not care to disclose. So much pain and distrust that actually still can interfere with life to this day. Just know your loss was deeply felt, and you and your family are in my prayers always. To God be the Glory!

  12. Peter says:

Class “A” film. I didn’t see the first one. It’s about time we had a great Christian film that will reach many.

  13. Joanne says:

Your movie was very moving, very close to my own life. What a very gracious and awesome God we serve. I am still praying for my four children to return to the Lord. Please pray with me. Thank you.

  14. Ron says:

This movie was as awesome, as I knew it would be. Pastor Greg has told his story and my story. The difference is that when the trials came, I caved and turned my back, saying “This isn’t fair. If this is what Christianity is, I don’t want it.” Well, that was a mistake and I thank God that He is faithful to forgive! I am a work in progress and I give myself to God so that He can complete the work He has started. Thank you, Pastor Greg, for putting yourself out there and being transparent. I love what God is doing through you at Harvest, and I appreciate the fact that I can go to your site and use the mighty tools you make available for all of us to use. They are a bleessing and so are you.

  15. Darlene says:

    Dear Pastor Greg,

This version is fantastic! What a great testimony of how only Jesus healed your pain and filled your empty heart with love, joy, peace, and contentment. You spoke volumes and were an inspiration to me on how I too should be more proactive and bold in sharing my testimony.

I pray for you, your family, and your ministries while working out at the gym – a great time to pray while on the treadmill.

I listen to you online. God bless you. Keep sharing the gospel!

  16. John says:

    Hi Greg,
Loved the video. I went to school at CDM (graduated in 1968), went to school with Lonnie, and he was the first Christian to witness to me when we went to his house (I thought he was going to sell me some drugs) and God used him. We (my wife and I) minister all across America focusing on reaching the baby boomer and beyond generations.
God is not through with us yet…

  17. Prudence says:

This is so great! I’ll pass this information along to my Bible study that we have at my workplace during our lunch break one day a week. Our small Bible study only started with about 4-5 people, and now has grown up to 15 people with the Lord’s help and all in God’s glory.

Thank you, Greg, for posting this so I can pass this onto others to come to the Lord through what you have passed on about Jesus to bring others to Christ. God bless you and for the Lord working through you! Thank you!

  18. Greg says:

May God be blessed through your book and movie.

    Love, Greg Haines

  19. Greg says:

I live in Seal Beach, attend Calvary Pacific Coast, and are a part of the children’s ministry. I have listened to you for the last 20 years and you, your family, and your ministry are in my prayers always, because I know it is God working through you. Even through your recent loss of your son, I am sure God will do a mighty work. We all have stories to share and that God can work through. Yours has truly been an incredible one that God has done a mighty work through.

    In His Name,
    Greg Steven Haines
