No fooling!

Good Tuesday to all of you.

Of course, today is April Fools Day, but I want to share something with that is no joke. Today is also my son, Christopher David Laurie’s birthday! He is 33 years old.

Chris, Brittany, and Stella Laurie

Cathe and I love him very much, as you know. Christopher is married to Brittany, and they have the most beautiful daughter in the world, Stella.

Christopher is the head of our design department at Harvest. When you see our cool graphics on the web and in print, it’s Christopher, working with a killer team of designers, overseeing all that. In fact, he designed all the graphics for this blog site!

If you would like to wish Christopher a happy birthday, you can do so in the comments section.

I married in 1997 (at 20 years old) while working as a law firm receptionist. My husband was not a Christian and everyday at lunch I would eat in my Jeep, just to listen to your sermons on the radio. You continually gave me the strength and peace that I needed to get through a horrible marriage.

I am now married for 4 years to the most wonderful Christian man and have three children being raised in a strong, Christian home. I have introduced my husband to you by television recently and we now both enjoy your encouraging words more than ever.

I am praying so hard for your family, and Christopher’s, that you may all have the strength to continue in this temporary home, changing lives everyday the way you have helped change mine. Go Forth! Allow Jesus to carry you! Use HIS footprints to make your mark! Jesus will carry you through until that wonderful reunion with Christopher we all get to share one day!

I can’t wait to meet him! He sounds like a great guy… but, now… he’s not only great but PERFECT. We wouldn’t wish him back for anything in the world. 🙂 Thank you for loving your son the way our Father loves us!

May our Lord comfort you through each nano second of your grief. My heart groans in the Spirit to our Father for you where words just can’t do.
