American Idol results, South Dakota and the O.C.

Hey everyone!

It’s good to be back home here in SoCal. We are still rejoicing in all that the Lord did in South Dakota. What a beautiful place, and what a wonderful and receptive group of people to the gospel there in Rapid City.

I cannot think of any place we have been in the last 20 years where we had stronger support from the media, including the secular media. In many of the articles, a number of quotes from my messages were printed and for that I rejoice.

So thanks again for all your prayers, and please remember that Long Island, New York, is coming, as well as our 20th anniversary Southern California Harvest at Angel Stadium in Southern California. For more information on all of this, go here.

Tonight in Orange County: “Surviving the Shipwrecks of Life”

Tonight at our Thursday study in the O.C., I will be doing a special message titled “Surviving the Shipwrecks of Life.”

The longer I live life, the more convinced I am that you are either coming out of one storm or sailing toward another. But don’t fear, for if you have put your faith in Christ, you can even survive a “shipwreck of life.” We have survived our shipwreck, but we are still looking to the Lord each and every day for strength as we have a long, long ways to go.

American Idol Results

I see that Kris Allen won American Idol this year. I have heard that Kris is a Christian and I think America got this one right. I offer Kris my congratulations and hope that he might use this amazing platform to honor the Lord. He has an amazing talent.

Thank you so much for doing a Crusade in the midwest. I drove from South central Nebraska (8 hours), figuring this is as good of a chance as I’d ever have. You did an excellent job of delivering the message, and what an excellent response! Blew me away . . . I picked up some good ideas for youth ministry at my home church too. Thanks again and may God Bless You All!

I drove 7 hours (from Iowa) to the Black Hills Crusade. I have been to many large Christian events like this and was blown away by the hunger for the gospel and the overwhelming response to the invitation to be saved. Your youth pastor spoke at my brother’s church on Sunday morning and shared how 47 people in the community had received Christ when his team of 10 young people passed out literature and invited people to the conference. As a born-again believer and a mighty soldier in His army, the whole experience emboldened me. Seeing “the harvest” happen right before my eyes was so exciting. I purchased your G3//Tactical Guide so that I can be better equipped to be about God’s business. Thank you for the inspiration–I am purposefully, deliberately & intentionally refocused to do my part.

Thank You, Lord, for the Black Hills crusade and what good work you are doing in the Laurie’s lives and the people they come into contact with.

I am blessed that I was a part of the South Dakota Crusade (through prayer)!

I didn’t know that Kris is a brother in the Lord! I still voted for Adam, though!

Our family is blessed to be able to go to California for vacation. What I am really looking forward to to is Thursday Nights with Greg! We will be there on June 4. We are getting there early so we can sit in the front. Can’t wait to hear you teach and see the Praise Band!

We are going to invite old friends to come along with us.

Can we get backstage passes? hahahaha

    Hee Haw from Texas!
p.s. remember to pray for Pastor Greg today!
