Pastor Greg, thank-you for the answer to a
prayer. I have been reading yours and your son Jonathan’s interviews, as well as your commentary on your son Christopher being in Heaven, and then watching this clip on suffering, and they’ve all ministered to me tremendously. Your ability to reach out and be so candid in the midst of your pain, is truly a testimony to the strength of Our LORD! Two days ago, July 23rd, our Children’s Ministry Leaders, Danny and his wife Maria, lost one of their daughters, Daniella, who was only ten in an auto accident. They just recently finished VBS in which I heard some of our children accepted JESUS! We praise the LORD for that!! They are so loving, and committed to our church, and the children, just as you and your family are to your Ministry, and just as my heart broke for you guys, it is broken for them. Everything you have written and said, though, has helped so much to put things into perspective. I’ve been praying alot for them, and trying to figure things out. I would like to ask you and your family to pray for this family as well. Thankyou again, eternally, for all you and your family do through this Ministry, and please know that my prayers are with you all too at this very difficult time for comfort, strength, and for the upcoming Harvest.

May GOD Bless you all, and looking forward to the Harvest!

Thank you for that, Pastor Greg. It was just a great short apologetic on suffering. Hard living through suffering, but someday it will all make sense and we will be glad we persevered.

Praying for you all right now.

This is so encouraging and comforting to read and hear. We just said goodbye to a young man, Gabe Brewer, age 17,who tragically died in an auto accident. Please pray for his parents, Pastor Chris and Judy Brewer. Why God allows suffering is healing to us, who miss Gabe so much.

We do ask God of comfort to heal as only You can.

Thank you for your ministry and we continue to pray for you and for your family.

Thanks Ps Greg, excellent message and awesome format. I especially love the part about how we cling to God closer in times of struggle. I have looked back on my life and even tho I have had some tough periods I think to myself.. ‘would I have been as close to Jesus now,, if my life had of been an easy ride?’… I think not. I found him dearer in those times of suffering.

I also think yr film maker deserves praise for his/her artistic style of this video clip.. natural/earthy and so polished. Have a good one 🙂

Great vignette on suffering. The heroes of the Bible all had one thing in common. They did not waste their pain because they new there was a purpose for everything we go through in our service to God. Jesus was the model!
