I’ll Be Speaking In Orange County Tonight On Sharing Your Faith

Did you know that only 1 in 20 Christians have ever shared the gospel message, and that only 1 in 10 think they should? That means only 10 percent of Christians are engaged in personal evangelism.

And if there are 50 million true Christians in the U.S, then only about five million of them are sharing Christ, and most of them ineffectively. I believe that can change, starting with you . . . and me.

Tonight in Orange County, I will complete my Crossover series on sharing your faith with a message that will deal primarily with actually leading a person to Jesus Christ.

Live on the radio

I will be live on the radio tomorrow, from 6:00 A.M.-9:00 A.M., on KFSH (95.9 FM) in Southern California. You can call in with questions, if you like.

If you are outside Southern California, you can click here to listen on the Internet.

Although my posting is after the fact… I want to encourage you and your family for additional strength this last week before the crusade. I think in many ways, preparing for the crusade may be the same as to those that prepare for military service getting ready to go out on duty, old-school native Americans, or even a mother preparing for birth. Each of them have a specific mission for their cause to be completed; even a duty in some form. Yet with each situation, one can be under attack with thoughts of pain and fear for the unknown. I think in some ways, you are preparing for a battle, getting ready to approach people in their simplest, rawest state; that of sin. I believe that God has annointed you and this year will be the best ever. I think with the world as it is and the financial uncertainty of our world, we need hope in things unseen, because we know what the world holds for what we can see. It is not good. So stay strong and we will continually be praying for your battle that you are about ready to defend for future new Christians. God Be with you, Shelley Smith and Rosemary Scott
