Back in California!

Well, I’m finally back in good old California. This has been a long trip, with our crusades in Philadelphia and New York City, and I’ve been gone for well over three weeks, so I am glad to be home.

I stopped in Dallas to speak at a pastors’ conference at Prestonwood Baptist Church, pastored by my friend Jack Graham. But I’m home now.

Back at Harvest this Sunday

I will be speaking this Sunday at Harvest, so I hope you will all tune in or join us in person, if you can. We may have a recap video ready from these last two crusades to show as well.

Book signing at Barnes and Noble in Newport Beach

Prior to Christopher’s early departure to heaven, I was scheduled to do a book signing for Lost Boy at Barnes and Noble in Newport Beach. Needless to say, I canceled everything.

I feel I need to honor that commitment, so I will be there this coming Sunday, October 26. If you would like to to come and get a copy of Lost Boy and have me sign it, I will be there at 3:00 P.M.

The Barnes and Noble is located inside the Fashion Island shopping center.

Preach the Word Conference

We have an amazing event coming up for all of you who feel called to preach or teach the Word of God. In other words, this is not for preachers only, but for any of you who teach God’s Word, be it in a church or a home Bible study.

Whether you are an evangelist or Sunday school teacher, this is the conference for you.

It’s called the Preach the Word Conference and it will be at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside. This conference is designed to teach you more about being an effective communicator of God’s Word.

Check out this lineup of speakers: Chuck Swindoll, John MacArthur, Chuck Smith, James McDonald, Bob Coy, James Merritt, Jack Graham. You won’t often find this particular lineup of speakers this strong in any one place.

This is the one conference you will not want to miss.

The dates are November 17-20. For more information, check out this link.

Well, that’s all for now.

    Pastor Greg & Family,

Glad you got home safe and had such a great turn out at the Crusades back east. I was talking to a guy in Philadelphia at my job and he was booking a reservation on the train from Phily to New York on Sunday the 19th. He told me he was going to a show that started at 7pm and I knew he was going to see you. I asked him if he was going to the Harvest Crusade. He said “Yes!!!” I went to the one in Philly and now I’m going again to the NY one!!!” I told him you were my pastor in Riv, CA and he flipped out. He was so excited, he couldn’t believe it. He said it was God’s divine appointment for us to meet on the phone. It was great telling him how awesome you are and how I get to see you every Sunday…(well almost every Sunday), I think he was quite jealous… Thank you again for being an awesome pastor. See you Sunday.

    HI Pastor Greg,

I am glad your back and especially to hear how God touched lives in NY..I liked when I visited there a couple of years ago. Liked seeing you play with Stella. I do the same thing with my soon to be two year old grandson Ethan.

    Dear Pastor Laurie,
I just want you to know that your proclamation of God’s Word goes far beyond just the Crusades. I get your daily pod cast from iTunes because I can’t listen to American radio stations were I live. My father is stationed here on Cheveres US Military Base in Belgium. We live in an environment that is cut off from most things that you can get in the States, like good Christian Radio. The culture, language, weather, and so many other things here are very different from ours, so as you can imagine, it can sometimes be very difficult to live here. That is why I thank God that we have your podcast to listen to in the car. It is very uplifting for my mom and I. Your podcasts about spreading the Gospel helped me show one of the locals here to the Lord. It was an awesome experience, and I want to thank you for the role you played in helping me, as you do so many other people. I will continue to pray for you and your family. Once again, those crusades don’t reach just to the people in the stadiums. Thank you so much for all that you do. May God Bless!

    Dear Pastor Greg-

May God also bless your Preach the Word conference as He has blessed your crusades. Build the kingdom, build the kingdom, build, build, build… complacency is obviously not an option with you and our Lord 🙂
    And that’s a good thing!
I wonder if the teens I teach on Sunday nights at our church would benefit from my attending such a confrence…
Well, enjoy your flock this Sunday,
    Shalom, Lori

The Preach the Word conference is for men AND women. It is for anyone who feels called to teach the Word of God, from Sunday school teachers to pastors.

    Pastor Greg,

Welcome home!…We missed you. We have been praying for you these last couple of weeks for your health and for comfort in these hard times while you are doing the work of the Lord during the Harvest Crusades in Philadelphia and New York. You are a true blessing to all of the lives that you touch! Thank you for that. Just know that my husband Josh and I are praying for you and your beautiful family. Get some rest and we’ll see you on Sunday morning! 🙂

    Hi Pastor,
Just to let you know that my family is still praying for you and yours since the death of Christopher. I am happy to see God’s faithfulness in your lives.

I still go to familiar places and try to make a connection with my loved one gone home to be with the Lord. But I realized just this morning that it will never happen until I die and see him again in heaven, I am looking forward to that day. It made me sad to think I will never see him again in this world, or touch, or hug him, or speak with him. but I still miss him and I still cry when I think of him. God bless you Pastor my prayers are always with all of you.

Hi Pastor Greg…thank you so much for sharing your life with us. You are truly a gift to all of us. Please tell Cathe, I just listened to one of her archived Tuesday morning Bible studies, and she spoke to me so much when she shared how when she can’t sleep she goes thru the Alphabet thinking about the Lord. What a gift she is! Please tell her I’m praying for her also. Praying for your family, that you will be able to rest…and get some sleep. Thank you for being faithful to your flock.
    With His Love,
