Lost Boy news

Hey everyone!

I don’t know if you heard, but my book Lost Boy was nominated by Outreach Magazine as the Resource of the Year in the evangelism category. Lost Boy was one of the ten nominees in this category.

I thank God that he is using my story not only to touch people, but also as a resource to touch others.

Lost Boy,the movie.

Since Christopher’s early departure to heaven we have redone the close of Lost Boy: The Documentary. We premiered it for those in attendance at the Preach the Word Conference. Many were deeply moved by it.

To me, this is not just a movie; it is my life, which has taken this tragic turn. Yet, the message is still the same, that God can bring good out of bad. It’s not that bad becomes good, but that good can come despite the bad.

Southern California premiere of new Lost Boy: The Documentary

We will be showing the new, full-length film at Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa on Sunday, December 28. The screening will begin at 7:00 P.M.

We hope to have it available soon to you to order on DVD.

Lost Boy film showings.

In early 2009, I will be showing Lost Boy: The Documentary in different parts of the country, including Chicago and Dallas. I will let you know as things firm up.

That’s all for now.

    Hi Pastor Greg,

Thank you for all that you do through the power of the Holy Spirit. I look forward to seeing the new version of your life story. I’m sure this season comes with mixed feelings, but I’m positive that the Lord will see your family through any emotional challenges you may experience. May God continue to bless you all.

Greg; I read your message “No Pain No Gain” My ears were alert and my heart attentive to what you had to share knowing the tragedy your family has experienced. I just have to say that God has given you and Cathi profound wisdom in your life and you both have passed it down to your congregation and the world. Our faith is strong because my husband I were priviledged to sit under both of your teachings as we were a part of Harvest for many years and also served there. It amazes me how you have continued with even more ferver in serving and making yourself available to the Lord. God forbid if He were to bring such a tragedy our way, I know He would be there for us as well. I pray for all of you continually. Hope Brittany and Lucy are doing well and Stella is enjoying her new baby sister. I pray for Jonathan and Cathi too. It was good to hear Cathi on your Skid Row interiew. I hadn’t heard from her since your loss. Thank you both for your faithfulness and encouragement. I am so grateful for Harvest.org and it’s resources, it helps me keep connected. God Bless all of you! Your fellow Partner.

    Pastor Greg,

Congrats on the book Lost Boy. You were at our church (Calvary Fort Lauderdale), and we saw the film. It was amazing and I am sure the new one will minister to many. We are praising our Lord and giving Him all the glory for your heart and ministry.
