Stella Sing, Sing, Sings!

As you might recall, I interviewed Stella a few weeks ago when Randy Alcorn spoke at Harvest. She was a bit shy, but she did her “ABC’s” for us.

So, a few days later at our Orange County Bible study, I called her up again before I interviewed Randy.

First, watch her at Harvest on Sunday by clicking here.

Now, watch her four days later. She really came out of her shell!

This time, we sang Chris Tomlin’s song, “Sing, Sing, Sing,” plus we did John 14:6 together. I love how Stella took control of that microphone.

So enjoy!

This is a testament of your dedication to Christopher’s memory by God helping you to fill a great void left in your son’s family.

Beautiful Stella is not even MY granddaughter but [as if she was] she surely made my eyes water and caused a lump in my throat as she helped you share God’s love to us in her sweet and innocent way. What a joy that is to see and I look forward to videos of Lucy and then the two of them together over the years.

A beautiful memory I have of my daughter when she was 5 was her singing Jesus, what a beautiful name at a cafe. We were having a coffee, late afternoon with my non-believing husband and his friends, when the band came and asked if I was ok with my daughter performing a song with them as she had asked. I said that was fine, she said she would sing Dancing Queen by Abba and the band prepared to play with her. But, once on stage with microphone in her hand she sang Jesus what a beautiful name, all by her little self as the band did not know how to accompany her. I nearly cried it was so beautiful. God is so amazing, especially when you see him work through little children.

Your dear Stella’s song, and Bible verse session(s), are an important reminder for all ages; as to how one can become closer to the Lord, and [His] presence is very near to us. These also could encourage one to remember the thinking/saying of prayers, and the rewards of being focused in life; which are awaiting each of us!!!

That was so cute. My grand daughter loves to sing that song. It was the first one she learned. She is 3 also. What a blessing they are.

    Hi Pastor Greg,

Besides my 3 gifts from God, Stella is the cutest!!

There is nothing like hearing our children sing praises to the Lord! I LOVE THAT!!

    Dear Pastor Greg Laurie,
Thank you for showing us a good example on how to teach children. As parents and grandparents in this crazy and chaotic world, we often forget that teaching children involves spending time with them and showing them how. You memorized the Bible verse with Stella, and you sang with her. Stella and your family are blessed to have you. Thank you for sharing the videos with all of us. You are a living testimony and I strongly believe that more people will know Christ through you. May God bless you and your family abundantly.

  15. Laura Fiore says:

Stella’s picture should be next to the definition of “a blessing” and the word precious.
