Easter at Harvest

Wow! What an Easter we had at Harvest!

More than 22,000 people showed up on our church campus over the weekend to remember the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We know of at least 378 people who made commitments to follow Christ, as well. We used all of our overflow facilities and our satellite campuses had record attendance too. It was just a wonderful day.

The weather was absolutely perfect and the people were blessed.

We are really looking forward to our new buildings that we building right now that will house another 1,700 people in overflow, along with new parking, 20 new Sunday school rooms, a dedicated youth ministry building, a media center, and an on-site baptismal.

Believe me, we will use all of it the day it opens!

If you came to one of our Easter weekend services, let me know your thoughts.

Here are some photos of the day:

Dearest Pastor, we miss you guys so much! :'( My husband and I moved to Missouri about a year ago. The Lord has not revealed a spirit-filled, Bible-based church for us to attend that is within 100 miles of our house. Perhaps He has another move in store for us? Anyway, we had the opportunity to attend the Easter service on a recent trip to So Cal. The outpouring of blessings from your message, the Worship Band’s new song, the huge choir, seeing the return of the lost sheep, and the loving, warm, friendly, peaceful and blessed atmosphere of Harvest filled our cup to last until we are able to visit again. In the meantime, we enjoy all you have to offer through the internet, radio and TV. It is a privilege to support Harvest financially matched only by the thrill of seeing the returns on our investments. Peace, love and God’s continued blessings on you, your family, Harvest Fellowship and ministries. Most importantly, we will keep praying for you and your continued strength and enthusiasm as you prepare for the next round of Harvest Crusades. May the Lord bless you with a special harvest in Israel in the coming weeks. It doesn’t look like we are going to be able to make it as I had hoped and prayed. We love you so much!

BTW re Lost Boy: love it, can’t wait …

Greetings Pastor Greg for Anchorage Alaska,

I very much enjoyed the Sunrise Services via the online option. A cup of coffee, the mac, and Harvest Fellowship made for a great start to Resurrection Sunday. Then I was off to conduct my own services at Muldoon Community Assembly here in Anchorage.

    Pastor Greg,

Your message was unbelieveable on Easter Sunday. My husband and I have been going to your church since the Harvest Crusade in Anaheim in Auguest of last year and have enjoyed every minute of it. We attended the 5:45am service and it was the best Easter we’ve ever had. A great message, beautiful music, and an amazing Pastor, what more could we ask for! Thanks again!!
May God bless you and your family always!

    In Christ,
    Krystal Nelson

    Pastor Greg,

I appreciate you. Thank you for being real and staying true to the Word of God. Even though Harvest is a very large church, I recognize it as an intimate family. I think it is great what technology can bring to a large church, bringing the Pastor/Congregation interaction to a personal level as if it were the small church in a small town. And with so many opportunities to get “plugged in” to a ministry or study group at Harvest, many close relationships have been formed over the years to the point of no matter which service I attend, I see familiar brothers and sisters in Christ ready to encourage each other as we walk the Earth.

I thank God that I live in the era of Harvest ministries, a large Church, a large family, focused on Christ, founded on the Word of God.

    God Bless

    Pastor Greg,

That was my first sunrise service and I enjoyed it very much. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be to get up at 4am. My parents and parents-in-law came with my husband and I. We actually commuted all the way from West Covina. We’ll be doing the sunrise service again next year.

    Hey Pastor Greg,
This Sunday service was amazing like always. For the first time in years my youngest sister actually sat in my church she enjoyed it as well.
I’m blessed to have Harvest so close to my home and to have you and your amazing team of pastors as my teachers. God bless you always Pastor Greg.

    Dear Pastor Greg,
What a blessing it is to be able to watch the service on the web. I’ve attended Harvest for 20 years and had to move to Las Vegas due to my elderly mother needing us here. I miss Harvest very much and being part of the Gospel Choir, and working in the Call Center, but praise God we’re getting fed the Word of God from you. We were very blessed by the Easter Service and wished we could had beamed ourselves there in the pews….haha. Am glad to see that Chapter 2 is going strong. We pray that God will continue to bless Harvest and bring many to Christ. Would love to see a Crusade in Vegas…it’s really needed. God Bless

    Hi Greg,

Nice to see you have a blog. I read your devotionals daily they are great. It looks like you guys had an awesome time Easter. Believe it or not, I was thinking about Harvest Ministries on Easter and how I would like to relocate from NC to work under your leadership. It’s a long ways to CA but I figured, I relocated for undergrad and graduate school, I certainly can relocate to make a bigger impact in the spiritual realm. I will pray on it and see what I need to do!

    All the best!
